WHAT TEMPERATURE IS BONZA COOKED AT?

Our food is gently cooked using the cold extrusion process at temperatures of 70 °C or less.

This not only helps to preserve the integrity of our quality plant-based ingredients, including the vital vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients, so beneficial for your dog’s health but also reduces the energy and water used in the cooking process – a win for the environment and the Planet.

Lower temperatures also significantly reduce the creation of potentially harmful advanced glycation end products (AGE’s).

Dietary advanced glycation end products (dAGEs) are known to contribute to increased oxidant stress and inflammation, which are linked to the recent epidemics of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancers.
