Did Bonza conduct tests with real dogs when developing this food?

Yes, our dog food was tested through humane volunteer testing with 34 dogs in their own homes, supervised by a panel of vets and scientists. All dogs had previously been fed premium, meat-based dry food.

They were transitioned to Bonza plant-based food over a period of 4 days. The dogs were then exclusively fed Bonza for 21 days

Both acceptability, palatability and digestibility studies from the feeding trial showed excellent results.
